Carlos Kuchkovsky

Carlos Kuchkovsky is the co-founder and CEO of QCentroid, a Quantum as a Service and Operations platform. 

Our mission is to democratize and accelerate access to quantum computing for companies of all sizes that face complex problems. The focus is on those aiming for sustainable transformation, net-zero goals, and climate adaptation solutions.

At BBVA, Kuchkovsky held key leadership roles, including Chief Research Officer, CTO of New Digital Businesses, and Head of the Patent Office. He significantly contributed to the bank's advancement in quantum computing, blockchain, machine learning, and cryptography.

As a member of the European Quantum Flagship's Strategy Advisory Board, Carlos influences the industry's vision and direction.

In the World Economic Forum, he is member of  in the climate adaptation working group and was a part of the Future Council on Quantum Technologies, emphasizing the sustainable use of quantum technology.

Carlos has authored research publications in machine learning, quantum technology, and blockchain.

He is also an active lecturer in international MBA programs.

His commitment to innovation is evident in his development and contribute to more than 30 patents,  demonstrating his belief in the transformative power of disruptive technologies for societal change.
